Terrace

The Terrace Rod & Gun Club is pleased to announce the 2010 BC IDPA Provincial Championship to be held on July 24, 2010 in Terrace, BC, Canada. This match will be the third IDPA-sanctioned event to be held in Terrace, British Columbia, Canada.

The event will be limited to the first 100 applicants. All competitors must be IDPA-registered and be classified "Novice" or above by the date of the match.

The match fee is $75.00CAN and includes lunch, as well as entry into the prize raffles.

The match consists of 13 stages and a minimum of 144 rounds. The match booklet is available for download here.

• Breakfast served from 7:30am - 9:00am
• Registration/Check-in from 7:30am - 8:30am
• Safety Officer briefing at 8:30am
• Shooter briefing at 9:00am
• Shooting begins at 9:30am
• Lunch served from 11:00am - 1:00pm
• Awards and Raffle to take place one hour after final scores are posted.

Match Registration Forms

All competitors are required to fill out and submit a completed registration form. All forms must be signed and submitted no later than June 30, 2010. Cheques and money orders should be made out to the Terrace Rod and Gun Club.

Competitors coming from outside of Canada will require up to three additional forms in order to import their firearms into the country for the match.

The Authorization to Transport for Non-Resident needs to be mailed or faxed to the address listed.

The Non-Resident Declaration Sheet needs to be filled out and submitted at the border, and if you are planning on bringing more than three(3) firearms, the Non-Resident Declaration Continuation Sheet needs to be completed. Both of these forms need to be signed in front of the Border Services Officer along with paying a $25 "declaration fee."

Please be aware that Canadian Firearms laws prohibit handguns with barrel lengths of 105mm or less(approximately 4.15"). In order to satisfy our few but important revolver shooters, IDPA has made a rules exemption that permits revolver barrel lengths of up to six(6) inches in their respective classes.

Also be aware that magazines with a capacity of more than ten(10) rounds are prohibited unless it has been permanently altered so that it cannot hold more than the number of cartridges allowed by law. Acceptable ways to alter a magazine are set out in the regulations (Section 4).
